About RouteDesk Alpine

Alpine Route Planning Desk — online information service for Austria and Germany.

Service Notice: RouteDesk Alpine is an online information and coordination desk. We are not an emergency service. For accidents or injuries, please call 112 (EU emergency number) or 133 (Austrian police). Service availability depends on local partners.

Our Mission

RouteDesk Alpine was established to provide clear, accessible and policy-compliant road information for drivers travelling in Austria and Germany. We recognise that navigating unfamiliar road networks — particularly in alpine regions — can be challenging, and our goal is to reduce that friction through well-organised, factual content.

We operate as an entirely online service. There is no physical office open to the public. All enquiries are handled by email, and our coordination team works with regional information partners to maintain content quality.

What We Do

Information Compilation
We gather publicly available data on road networks, toll structures, driving regulations and seasonal conditions, then present it in a clear and structured format.
Coordination Desk
For specific enquiries, we act as a coordination point, directing users to the appropriate local resources, authorities or service providers.
Content Maintenance
We review and update our content regularly to reflect changes in regulations, toll charges and road conditions. However, we cannot guarantee real-time accuracy.
Accessibility
All our pages are designed to meet basic web accessibility standards, including keyboard navigation and screen reader compatibility.

What We Do Not Do

Our Approach to Accuracy

We take care to present information that is factually grounded and sourced from publicly available official materials. Where information may be subject to change — such as toll rates or seasonal regulations — we include clear notes advising users to verify details with the relevant authority before travel.

We do not invent addresses, phone numbers, certifications or awards. All claims on this site are either verifiable through public sources or clearly labelled as general guidance.

Contact & Feedback
